Meeting of the working group on the development of training courses

On December 4, 2023, an online meeting was held between project partners from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and guest expert Dr. Oleksandr Kravchenko from Old Dominion University, USA. During the meeting, participants exchanged experiences regarding the content of courses on manufacturing technologies for composite parts at Old Dominion University and in Ukraine, specifically at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The syllabus for the “Composite Materials” course and Dr. Oleksandr Kravchenko’s lecture materials were reviewed. Colleagues discussed the specifics of theoretical and practical training for students in the U.S. and Ukraine, as well as collaboration with industry partners.

The “Aircraft Engineering Education Renovation” (uCAREER) project is being implemented under the “Small Grants for Public Diplomacy – EDUCATION for 2023” Program with the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine (the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine).
